Most of our projects fall into the $100,000 - $1,000,000 budget range for total construction cost.
We begin with a complimentary meeting on site to discuss your ideas and goals and to get an initial impression of your landscape. We can then define our scope, budget and schedule together, and proceed by synthesizing our ideas into a conceptual design. The conceptual design package is a great tool to discuss and revise the overarching framework of the design prior to developing any specific details.
Once we have a conceptual design established, we refine it into a schematic design package that can be priced. While we are technically well versed in construction drawings, documentation and observation, we produce scaled planting plans, materials plans and schematic details for your contractor to build from. This is a remarkably efficient way to incorporate professional landscape architectural design services into a residential project. If your budget permits, we are willing and eager to work with the contractor through construction to ensure the best possible product.
One can never know too much about a site prior to the commencement of design work. If possible, it is recommended that you gather site plans, building elevations, and topographic surveys prior to the start of design. If a site plan is unavailable, a survey can be arranged.
